I feel workshops are the most effective way to help my clients. In the workshops she shares the most important knowledge and tools needed. I can present all the steps of the treatment process that my clients need. It is helpful to look at the whole picture at one time. You will leave with a packet of all the best information needed. You will receive, The 20 Best Therapy strategies for anxiety, grief, or trauma.
The workshops will have 6 clients or less. The clients will choose which exercises they feel will be most beneficial for their healing process. They will have time to process what feelings and thoughts these exercises brought up. In many of the art therapy exercises we often create the tools needed to begin to make the changes in thinking, or ways to relax, that are necessary for recovery.
You will go away with a plan for how to proceed to reduce symptoms in the quickest way possible. Many of my clients have said that they wish they would have had this knowledge many years ago. Once they had the tools, they were able to make changes quickly, in how they think and act. It has profoundly changed their lives.

In this workshop you will be provided the 20 best strategies for any mental health issue you might be experiencing. You will then choose to work on a couple of projects that meet your needs, at this time. You will have a chance to discuss what feelings this project brought up, to aid in healing. You can then work on others, on your own time, and begin to improve whatever area of your life you want to grow in.
Art therapy taps into the unconscious and brings into awareness thoughts and feelings that were previously hidden. Art helps people feel in control, increases our attention span, and relaxes us.
Art stimulates your brain in new ways. When we are doing something outside of our daily routine, that creates and reactivates new neural connections. Creative activity increases our brains level of serotonin and releases endorphins.
“A picture is worth a thousand words.” When we have depression, anxiety, or trauma we often have distressing images. Using therapeutic imagery is most effective in treating distressing memory. Through art, we can change the content, and outcome, of distressing and intrusive memories.
In this small group workshop you will learn how to approach life through your souls’ perspective and what your higher self wants you to know.
You will tap into your intuition and create a Soul Collage. You will access deep knowing in yourself as you mysteriously choose images. Then allow them to speak to you!
We can do Parts Work in Art Therapy. Shadows are the parts of ourselves that we reject and deny. We all have dark and light in all of us. Shadows are parts of ourselves that we don’t want others to find out about ourselves. It usually stems from childhood. If we repress our shadow’s they negatively affect our life.
Here you will have a chance to work on several art therapy exercises that help you to discover, acknowledge and release the shadow parts of yourself.
Grief is the natural loss of something important to us. Grief can cause physical and mental pain. Extreme stress from a loss makes our immune system weaker.
Would you like a place to express your grief and continue to heal? Learn how to use art therapy to express your feelings. The workshop will provide the most important information you need to know about grief.
Lisa will share the 20 Best Art Therapy exercises to recover from Grief. In the small group workshop, you will choose 2 Art therapy Exercises to work on. You will be provided time to complete them, to share insights, and feelings related to your pieces. You can then continue your work, at home, with additional exercises.
Anxiety is a common and normal experience and it can be managed successfully. Anxiety is the system in your body that helps us deal with real danger. When you experience anxiety your body’s flight, fright, and freeze response (adrenaline response is triggered). This response prepares your body for danger. We experience anxiety when we perceive, or think, we are in danger.
In this workshop you will learn the most important facts about anxiety. You will begin to recognize your thinking traps. We will then discuss how we begin to think more realistically. You will prepare your coping cards as talk back against your anxiety. You will learn how to face your fears through exposure work.
Lisa will provide the 20 Most Effective Strategies to reduce your anxiety symptoms. Art therapy is incorporated in the workshop as we can utilize these exercises as coping strategies and ways to change our thinking. Lisa knows what tools and knowledge you need to get started in changing your life and reducing anxiety.
Perfectionism is an anxiety disorder. The millennial generation is experiencing this in record numbers.
Do you have trouble meeting your own standards?
Do you often feel frustrated, depressed, anxious, or angry while trying to meet your own standards?

Perfectionsim is like having a phobia of making mistakes, or being imperfect. What level of imperfection are you willing to tolerate? What are some reasonable standards that you are willing to accept. Facing fears in a gradual and consistent manner is the most effective way to overcome phobias.

You will get an overview of all the ways past trauma effects your life now. You can identify which of these areas you want to focus on. You will learn about thinking errors and ways to have more realistic thinking. You will create your affirmation cards. You will learn the four most effective strategies to reduce your anxiety. You will be provided with the best websites, videos, and books that can help you work through
It takes a lot of effort for your brain to deal with trauma. The traumatized brain is on high alert. You will learn about trauma informed art therapy. Trauma memories are sensory memories. Art therapy rebuilds the brain from the ground up. You will choose what exercise to work on to best start your healing journey. You will create it and process feelings related to it.
Art therapy allows survivors to deal with trauma in the same deeply emotional way that they experience it. Recreating the trauma, through art, helps to work through the process. You will be provided the 20 most effective art therapy activities to heal from trauma and the best knowledge, websites and books for increased understanding. You can continue to do the work necessary to heal, as you leave the workshop.
In this workshop you will learn the common effects of trauma and identifying your trauma triggers. You will learn the most effective strategies to manage these triggers. You will work on creating tools that will be most effective in your healing moving forward. You will receive many helpful tools for coping with nightmares and flashbacks.
We will utilize art therapy exercises to aid in healing, in this workshop. You will leave with a booklet packed full of the knowledge and tools to help you in your recovery process.
