Meet Lisa
I am a fun loving, seeker of knowledge & professional therapist.
My greatest passion is bringing healing and insights to people who have been through traumatic or stressful events. We all encounter challenges and setbacks in life, working through them is a healing journey that a therapist can help you begin.
Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada with 34 years in the field. She received a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She is a highly skilled therapist with a wide range of experience working as a crisis counselor, substance use, and mental health counselor in a County Human Services Department.
She has also worked as a therapist at a sexual assault resource center, correctional facilities, a dialysis center, a palliative care home health care agency and a Veterans mental health clinic.
Lisa has treated children, families and Individuals. She has extensive training in trauma informed cognitive behavioral therapy, strength based therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma treatment, and art therapy.

Workshops are for groups of 2-6 clients who get to choose which exercises they feel will be most beneficial for their healing process. In many of the art therapy exercises we often create the tools needed to begin to make the changes in thinking, or ways to relax, that are necessary for recovery.
